Being a teenager is Difficult

By: Joshua Granil

For me, being a teenager is difficult. Find out why:

You will be a victim of bullying. Fellow teenagers can be so cruel. Bullying goes on at all ages and in all locations but the intensity of it during school years can be seriously traumatic and there are very few people that escape those years without falling victim to it. Add in the social media factor and it’s difficult to get through youth without being scarred by bullies.

Everyone of us have a strict parents. Some times they always give as an advice and give and give. Always Remind us everything. Yes they come on our stage and they know what is right for us. They want us to be safe in any situation so everytime they didn't allow you to go in any party, events or etc, dont think they didn't love you, instead think that they want your safety and sake. So for instead of calling them strict, call them disciplinary parents and I thinks thats best.

First Love. Those first stirrings of feelings towards boys and girls lead your heart on a bit of a harsh journey and nothing else from school to family matters once your heart has decided to launch itself at someone.  When that first relationship breaks down you just want to give up on life. You might lose everything because of she/he. Losing is painful. But it’s also the very best thing that can happen to you. Why? Well because it makes you fight harder, longer, faster, than you would if you won and carried on with your precious life. Every single time I lost – I couldn’t fall asleep that night. I’d bust open my computer or take out a notebook and figure out a way to win or to let that dream go and dream of something bigger and better.I’m telling you this because a lot of articles out there are talking about how to talk about what happened with the election to your kids. And I don’t have any kids but I still want someone to talk to. I want to you to know that when you talk about the election to adults – or whatever you want to call us hard-working humans who are working overtime to figure this crazy little world out – the best thing you can talk about is the benefits of losing.

Everyone needs Privacy. Since you're already a teenager and adult. You must enjoy everything alone without your parents. Your a teengager not a kid
anymore and our parents mus know it. We need our own privacy so we sperate our room from them. You get told to act more mature but you still tend to get treated like a kid. There is a distinct lack of privacy for teenagers who are desperate to assert and enjoy some independence.

Being a highschool Student is such a stressful, and very hard task being a teenager. Exams, schoolworks, homeworks, MATH, and all subject are so "murderous".

Everything is changing both physically and emotionally and yet you are thrust in to the most intense situations of your young life, discovering heartbreak, anxiety, low self esteem and peer pressure along the way.In fact, even though adults endure everything from work problems to debt, no period of your life comes close to being as difficult as your teenage years.

Teenage life

By: Christian James Eson

Being a teenager is a mess, I must say. Maybe it's because we're currently in the transition between childhood and adulthood. We even have to sleep 10 hours every night, which is usually not done by most of us. We teenagers, well, most of us, like to stay up until late night and wake up when it's almost noontime or be up until morning, and that causes a problem -- pimples.

So pimples make us conscious of our face, and even more because some of us have crushes already. They can lower our self - confidence. Some teenagers won't even show their face or hide it from everyone, like me, I myself am experiencing this problem. I hide my face from people whenever possible  or avoid being lit because of it. It also makes me insecure when someone talks to me about it.

Anway, let's get back to the teenager life thing. There are people that we could meet who could be a bad influence to us & cause our live to be messed up. Like those teenagers who use illegal drugs. We could experience problems along our way, but drugs won't help you out in any way. They even prompt other teenagers to use them just to be in their clique, and that's not good. I'm not telling y'all to stay away from them and just let them be, we can help them change for the better.

Another thing that encounter in our teenage years is this "love" stuff. A lot of us think it's love but it isn't, it's actually infatuation or simply attraction. Taking it seriously could distract us from even more important things, like our studies. We, of course want to have a decent job in the future, right? Although finishing studies won't guarantee you success, we still have study because we're still young and we have a lot to learn and we got a long way to go. Look, our parents are working hard just for us to be able to study, but some of us just don't care, and I think it's cruel. But me, I won't let it go to waste, they're spending a lot of money. I would show my appreciation to their deeds and study hard. Crushes are only a normal thing to us teenagers, but taking it seriously to the point that you'll slash your wrists with a cutter or crying all the time because of someone you find good - looking, is obviously stupid and I find it a bit hilarious. But teenage life isn't all about avoiding you life to be messed up. In fact, teenage years are the happiest part of a person's life.  We're still young and we don't get to work yet and we still don't have responsibilities. We also seldom encounter pressure. In teenage years we get to have cliques, cliques whom we share interests with. That's why the students are divided in groups based on their activities. There are groups called the nerds, the jocks, the gangsters, and the gamers to name a few. But teenage life isn't all about avoiding you life to be messed up. High school is where all these things happen. It is probably because teenagers spend most of their time at school. I remembered what the priest told us in his homily during the baccalaureate mass when we were in the 6th grade and about to graduate. He said, "High school isn't all about studying alone, it also involves socializing with people, too."

That's what makes the teenage years and of course, the high school life happy - socializing. Although sometimes, others need a bit of alone time, they can't be alone forever. Even the emo guys flock together.
